During this ongoing Lockdown, as mentioned in My Bucket List after This Covid 19 Pandemic. I had alot of time on my hand to plan out my bucket list to pursue after the pandemic dies down. As usual I was scouring through the World Wide Web. That is the where I found a post on Virtual Tours in Europe. You could visit from the comfort of your chair various well known Museums. Utilizing your mobile or tablet with Virtual Reality. It was astounding and fun. You could stroll through historical places and even look left and right as if you were there. Its a good preparation before you actually visit the real spot. Cause nothing beats the real thing. Searched for Malaysian Travel VR video destinations. But alas there were very little. Guest it hasn’t caught on. So I felt its best to include those videos that I discovered here. So everybody can see from their sofa how awesome Malaysia is. Some of the recordings are by novices but the results is enough to know about these stunning spots. I guess if you have one of those VR specs it will be amazing.

Batu Caves

I feel this is the best VR video on Malaysia up until now. This video is almost 11 minutes. Done by an expert organization. They also have different VR videos however not in Malaysia. So I will highlight just the Batu Caves one. The journey takes you at the foot of the steps, till the enormous golden statue till the insides of the caves and its temples. You could even admire the tops of the caverns which is wonderful.

View from the Petronas Twin Tower.

Well this VR view is something alot of us will never get to experience. A 360 view from the top of the the tallest building in Malaysia. Its a timelapse video.

Pangkor Island

Pangkor Island is a resort island that lies just off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. There are no bridges to pangkor island, you have to go there by ferry. I always thought that Pangkor Island is only about the beaches but there is a few places of interest to visit. This video shows some of it.

Melaka – A Formosa and St Paul’s Hill

A visit to Malaysia is not complete without a visit to the historical sites in Melaka. Melaka and Penang is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Here’s a video on the walk to the to the Porta Santiago till the top of the St. Paul’s Hill.

Penang

Penang is also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list. But Penang is also famous for their food. Especially their Char Kway Teow and Nasi Kandar. Here is a rather long video ( 20 minutes). But it covers quite a number of interesting places to see in Penang.

Malaysian Beaches

Malaysia is blessed with beautiful beaches. I am so lucky to have spend most of my working life by the beach. Even met my other half on the beach.

Pantai Cenang, Langkawi

A short video from the beach at Langkawi, Kedah

Sky Mirror – Selangor

A unique beach in Selangor. Mainly visited because of its Mirror Like Surface

Perhentian Besar

A rather long video on the Perhentian Island. Famous for its beautiful beaches and snorkelling.

Tunamaya Resort. Tioman, Malaysia

Tunamaya is a beautiful resort on the Island of Tioman. We have been to Tioman Island before but at the Berjaya Tioman. Tioman is so beautiful and peaceful. And this resort on VR is simple beautiful

I bought two of this Car Backseat Inflatable Air Bed for our travels. As my Perdua Alza have 3 rows of seats, I thought by buying two backseat inflatable beds, I could join them together to make a bigger bed. I have found out that normal inflatable beds is not possible for my MPV due to the shape of the seat. But it was a bad idea cause the kids slipped through the cracks. And also it was really uncomfortable for them.

Well here is my review about this car backseat inflatable bed. There are two air inlets similar to other inflatable bed. The bottom one is for the leg area, sort of a stand holding the bed up. The bed fits most cars and it took me less that 4 minutes to fill both sections.

If you turn the inflatable bed over, you can make it sort of a soda for watching movies outside.

My Verdict

Its convinient if you have a normal sedan and you are travelling alone. As it fits the size of your seat, its quite comfortable for a person below 5 feet. However if you 6 feet like me you have to curl yourself up. But this car seat inflatable air bed will come in handy if you need a comfortable mattress for your kids to sleep.
